Fall is undeniably a beautiful season, and can add natural color and glamour to your wedding at no extra effort. At Fizara, we love a fall wedding, and have compiled some top ideas for those of you lucky enough to be getting hitched at this time of year.
Fall color palettes
Complement your nature backdrop with stunning fall color palettes, which you can incorporate into your bridesmaid dresses, table settings, and bouquets. Go for a simple two color palette like crimson and gold; three color palette like plum, cranberry, and orange, or various hues of purple. You will find tons of inspiration in this season.

A fantastic way to round off your night – or even rehearsal dinner – is with a bonfire. Set out smore ingredients and a circle of chairs to provide a simple but amazing gathering for the evening. Other more lively activities could be anything from cornhole, sack races, and a fun game of giant jenga. Make up random teams to get family and friends intermingling.

Flowers and centerpieces
A fall wedding lends to both rustic and bright floral decoration. For earthy, autumnal tones, you can incorporate pine cones, moss, mini pumpkins, and rustic leaves and grass. Alternatively, you may be aiming for a more vibrant color scheme – think bright purples, oranges and yellows for a stunning wedding bouquet.

Whether you are going for flowers or materials, you want to draw people’s eyes to your wedding arch, which is another great way to blend in your theme. If you are having an indoor wedding, decorate with drapes and sashes in your color palette, adding a few lights here and there. For a more rustic and outdoors wedding, go all out with a floral arch. Dried hydrangeas with splashes of bright berries look gorgeous.

Weather permitting, you may be lucky enough to enjoy your ceremony outdoors. Embrace the season and don’t clean it up! There’s no way you can keep up with the falling leaves, and it only adds to a beautiful setting. If your ceremony is later in the evening, add some low lighting with lanterns, candles, and lights, and enjoy the stunning autumnal sunset.

Pumpkins are a no-brainer for a fall wedding, and there are many classy ways to integrate them into your wedding. We love pumpkin baskets and lanterns, adorned with leaves and candles for a vintage, classic look. They can also be added for table pieces, place settings, and favors.

Cheap and cheerful! Who needs rice, streamers, or balloons? Borrow from nature and have your guests throw fall leaves as your return down the aisle. You won’t believe how incredible the colors look in wedding photos.

Last but not least, don’t forget your cake. Even a simple or plain design can be jazzed up to reflect your theme with a few leaves (real or frosted) added. A beautiful touch to a beautiful fall wedding.
