While the rest of the world is still getting to grips with writing 2017 in dates, and looking forward to a whole new year, the fashion world is way ahead. With Spring lines already in progress, we have plenty of hints as to 2017’s wedding trends that suit weddings of all style.
Vintage and modern mix
Mix it up with industrial meets classic: think warehouse venue, Gatsby-esque glamour, low lighting, and hanging flower garlands. While all-vintage may be your thing, try a little something different with some modern elements thrown in. Chic, cool, and very 2017.

Does your hometown have a famous local dish? If so, serve it up! From spicy seafood to tapas and even buffalo wings, keeping it local and close to home is the perfect touch for a reminder of who you are and where you’re from.
If you aren’t one for neat table arrangements and perfect posies, then 2017 is your year. A beautiful and very natural wedding trend is wild flowers, which look particularly spectacular for a more earthy, festival-style wedding. The aim here is a creative, haphazard style which will really stand out in your photos.

Speaking of earthy styles, the Coachella/Glastonbury look is another hot wedding trend everyone is loving. Long, flowing dresses, floral headpieces, and tent settings set off this vibe in true style. Luckily, you don’t have to include the port-a-potties or muddy fields.
Plunge neck and open back
Previous years have seen wedding gowns becoming decidedly sexy with open backs. It seems like the trend is continuing into 2017, with the added plus of plunge necks. Keep it simple and tasteful – and don’t do both!

Soft metallics and white
We are saying goodbye to vibrant golds and silvers and embracing more pastel metallic shades. Adding in white for contrast, these are a truly stunning look for upcoming brides. Try a soft rose gold mixed in with bright, beautiful whites for a color palette that really pops.
We are well into the 21st century, and many brides are bidding farewell to outdated, irrelevant traditions. If you don’t like it, simply don’t include it – there are no rules. Receiving lines, throwing the bouquet, and even wedding favors are on their way out this year.
Wedding photography is getting more and more beautiful and adventurous, so it was only a matter of time before drones became the new wedding trend. For large wedding parties, or spectacular venues, drones capture magnificent shots from every angle imaginable. Definitely a worthy investment.

Veils are back, and the bigger the better. Glitz it up with Swarowski crystals, include embroidered patterns, or have cathedral-length trains.
Pinks, purples, and blues
These hues are a big hit this season, and there are many ways you can incorporate them very easily. Flowers, table decorations, and stationery are easy ways of keeping in your color theme. Wedding dresses look seriously stunning with a bold splash of color, too.
While strapless wedding dresses have had their day, off-the-shoulder lines are making their way into the limelight. These can range from straps to full-length sleeves and can be incorporated for almost any look.
